After you fill the rice with water for cooking, put 1 TBSP of oil, and roughly 2 tsp of sea salt. Mix it all together with either a spatula or your hands. Then toss in a 1/2 inch or 1 inch stick of butter. I normally use 2 cups of basmati rice and 4 cups of water. Put it in the cooker and let it do its work. After it's done. Don't remove the rice from the cooker. Just unplug the cord from the outlet and let the steam cook it some more. After about 10 minutes, I take a fork and move the rice from the outside toward the center to loosen it up.
